The Cleveland Browns will select USC’s Sam Darnold 1st overall. Tyrod Taylor will start for the 2018 season as Darnold gets accustomed to the speed of the NFL. Brown’s fans should be excited with the recent free agent signings on defense and the trade for wide receiver Jarvis Landry. Adding running back Carlos Hyde with the explosive Duke Johnson gives Hugh Jackson weapons that will help the offense get first downs. Tyrod has proven that he will take care of the rock and if given time, take shots down the field.
Cleveland has Josh Gordon and Corey Coleman on the outside. Landry and Johnson in the slot. Tight end David Njoku controlling the seam and the Browns have an offense that looks promising. Moon Man still thinks Josh Gordon will get traded but if he doesn’t. Fantasy Friends should be locking in these wrs all season long depending on cost.
The Browns defense still needs work but they added depth with 3 dbs in Damarious Randall, T.J. Carrie, Terrance Mitchell and dl Chris Smith. However, until the Browns put together back to back wins in a season and prove they can control a game. Their offensive weapons will perform inconsistently all season long with promising garbage time points. There is excitement though. The defense has two potent pass rushers in 2017 1st overall pick Myles Garret and the 32nd overall pick in 2016 Emmanuel Ogbah. Linebackers Jamie Collins, Christian Kirksey and Joe Schobert are solid. 2017 25th overall pick Jabril Peppers on the back end will have an impact in this season and produce in the Fantasy World.
When it comes to the 4th overall pick. The Browns will select either defensive lineman Bradley Chubb, offensive guard Quenton Nelson, defensive back Minkah Fitzgerald or trade down. Saquon Barkley will be gone already at pick #2 to the New York Giants.
