Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings

Carson Wentz and Andrew Luck are in my top ten. Stick with them as they gradually get back into a rhythm within the offense. Big Ben cracks the top ten with his slimmer self and dynamic weapons surrounding him.

Jared Goff and Andy Dalton might surprise some people. Im big on their offenses and expect each Quarterback to make waves in 2018. Meanwhile Deshaun Watson falls outside the top 10. Dak Prescott, Blake Bortles and Tyrod Taylor fall lower than their usual finishes in past fantasy seasons.

Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings (Full Point PPR, 4 Point Per Touchdown Pass)

  1. Aaron Rodgers (Packers) –  The consensus number overall quarterback. Drafting him the 4th round or later is fine by me. He has a 30+ touchdown floor, depth at the receiver position and a healthy group of playmakers around him. Davante Adams is a dependable #1, Cobb has that repore in crucial situations, Jimmy Graham in the redzone, Ty Montgomery as a gadget player, Geronimo Allison coming along nicely as the #3 receiver and a healthy offensive line. The only concern would be his health which has taken on injuries in the last 5 years.
  2. Russell Wilson (Seahawks) – The Seahawks will not make the playoffs and their defense is suspect. Wilson will be slinging the rock from behind often. Add in his rushing upside and we have a garbage time King in 2018.
  3. Cam Newton (Panthers) – The combination of C.J. Anderson and Christian Mccaffrey will be an effective running duo. Injuries to the offensive line and inconsistency from week to week drops Cam to 3rd overall. Greg Olsen is back, although I don’t expect him to see 25%+ of the team’s target share. D.J. Moore and Torrey Smith stretching the field, along with Cam’s running ability in the redzone keep him in the top 3.
  4. Tom Brady (Patriots) – Tom is just too darn good. While from week to week he will target different receivers and backs. He still has Gronk who is good for 10+ touchdowns and reliability. This team should take off once Sony Michel is healthy and Julian Eldeman returns after his four game suspension.
  5. Carson Wentz (Eagles)
  6. Drew Brees (Saints)
  7. Andrew Luck (Colts)
  8. Kirk Cousins (Vikings)
