Week 9 Matchups

Moon Man’s Fantasy Football Chronicles

Eight Fantasy Football weeks in the books Fantasy Friends! Chris Hogan is living up to his #39 wide receiver ranking if you drafted according to Moon Man’s recommendation. As for receptions in 2016? Moon Man is still staying pat that they will come. Julian Eldeman and Danny Amendola are surprisingly staying healthy while defenses continue to get beat by the “GronkTellus” combination.(https://ffphilosophy.com/2016/08/19/afc-east-fantasy-combinations/).

Week 9 starts off with potential Fantasy Game of the Week!

The Atlanta Falcons head east to face off with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Thursday Night Football has produced Fantasy numbers all season long and Moon Man expects no different with this NFC South Rivalry. The Falcons should get a big win and reaffirm their position atop the NFC. Look for Devonta Freeman and Terron Ward to be factors. Maybe you stacked them in (Monday-Thursday) lineups? With Tevin Coleman still a non participant at practice and coming off a short week. The Atlanta Falcons should either come out running the ball and controlling the game clock/tempo or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will show up after their devastating overtime loss to Oakland in week 8. If the Buccs show up, then Matty Ice should need Julio Jones and the emerging Austin Hooper. Screens, dump offs and deep shot against the Buccaneer’s defense is a no brainer for Moon Man. Multiple game flows means multiple Lineups in Daily Fantasy Sports!

(Matt Ryan – Julio Jones stack and Jameis Winston – Mike Evans stack are viable this week).

Atlanta Falcons sleeper is tight end Austin Hooper. Tampa Bay Buccaneers sleeper is wide receiver Adam Humphries.

1:00 p.m. Gametime

Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings.

-Big Time Fantasy Game this week!!! Moon Man expects this game to produce DFS winning lineups. The Vikings will be red hot steaming after losing the previous two weeks. Look for Sam Bradford and company to light up the scoreboard on offense and defense. Not to be out done. Top fantasy quarterback Matthew Stafford will find Marvin Jones Jr. multiple times for big plays against Minnesota’s man coverage. Marvin Jones Jr. and Vikings DST are viable DFS plays this week!

Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers.

New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins.

Dallas Cowboys @ Cleveland Browns.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Kansas City Chiefs.

Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants.

4:05 p.m. Gametime

Carolina Panthers @ Los Angeles Rams.

New Orleans Saints @ San Francisco 49ers.

4:25 p.m. Gametime

Tennessee Titans @ San Diego Chargers.

-Running Back Derrick Henry finally gave Fantasy Owners a big performance. Opportunistic timing for Demarco Murray to injure his toe with week 8-9 being loaded with byes. Moon Man predicted Henry would be good for 2 big time performances and week 9 has to be it. Any toe or ankle injury sustained by a running back is serious. With the potential for season long lingering effects. The Tennessee Titans should rest Demarco Murray this week. Moon Man is expecting a 50/50 split week 9.

In one of Moon Man’s leagues he started Chris Hogan and Derrick Henry to secure a 5 point victor and remain atop his division at 6-2! Le’Veon Bell, DeAngelo Williams, Kenneth Dixon were on byes. Ty Montgomery ruled Out, Jarvis Landry on a bye, Corey Coleman injured and newly acquired Sammie Watkins is on Injured Reserve until a potential week 12 plug in.

Indianapolis Colts @ Green Bay Packers.

Sunday Night Football 8:30 p.m.

Denver Broncos @ Oakland Raiders.

Monday Night Football 8:30 p.m.

Buffalo Bills @ Seattle Seahawks.

As Always,

(Teams Going Off + Thoughts Flexed In) = Combination Lineups
